Pauline Collins

So saddened and upset to hear of the death of Pauline Collins. As ridiculous as it seems, I never thought such a thing was possible and that, somehow, Pauline would always be with us. In one way, of course, she always will exist - through the images she created whether for television or film, in the memories she generated through her work for the stage and ‘ held in common’ by those of us fortunate enough to witness her wonderful theatre work. And in a way that would, I’m sure, have been even more meaningful to her, Pauline will live still in the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who carry her spirit. To them and to John I send deepest condolences and my great gratitude that my work, and my life, were graced by the talent, intelligence, clear-eyed common sense and utter joy of Pauline Collins.
